shown for reference purposes as there are so many in service, and the
accessories that Motorola designed for them are still produced by Motorola, and
will be available for many years. In such case, the product pages will have this
logo shown.
Short Term Hire and MPT1327 trunking.
We are pleased to announce that we are only one of three suppliers in the UK to whom the Radio Communications Agency have granted an extension to our Short Term Hire Licence to enable us to offer 6 channels of trunking on new STH channels reserved for trunking use only. This means that we can now offer Trunked Systems for hire, for major events at no more cost than conventional Short Term Hire, with all the benefits of trunking. 10 customers have already taken advantage of this, and booked for 2001. We are please to announce that we have won a contract to supply the stage radio talkback and other communications at the Millennium Dome. This is a 4 channel full duplex system, with 25 to 50 full duplex Motorola GP300 radios.
We have also now been awarded the Frequency Management contract at the Dome.
