Anyone likely to spend more that £15 per month on Express Text messaging can take advantage of the Express Text 1000 option. A supplementary payment of £15 gives 1000 short messages worth £20 (or equivalent value of messaging) at the Express Text 1000 rates which are half the standard rates. These discounted rates also apply to any additional text messages sent over and above the £20 value.

Dolphin volume airtime discounts

Dolphin has created a simple method for giving End User discounts based on their total company usage of each chargeable call type(6). Marginal discount rates are applied to slices of the total monthly spend on qualifying calls. Thus the first £10 per month of qualifying calls are at list price, the next £40 are at 10% discount, the next £150 are at £20% discount etc. The discounts are illustrated in the two examples given below.

An End User making discountable calls worth £800 per month across all their Dolphin subscribers would earn the following discounts reducing the actual call charges payable to £584

(1) There is an annual charge of £500 to the Corporate Net sponsor. A monthly membership charge of £2.50 per user is made to those wishing to belong to a Corporate Net but who are external to the sponsor company.

(2) Peak period for voice call charging is 0700-1900 Monday – Friday. Off-peak period at all other times.

(3) Calls are charged per second, rounded up to the next whole pence. All charges exclude VAT unless specifically stated otherwise.

(4) Standard rate calls include calls to UK geographic numbers (0171 etc.), national rate numbers (0870, 0990), local rate numbers (0345, 0645, 0845), free phone numbers (0500, 0800, 0808). Excludes calls to other cellular networks, international destinations and premium rate services.

(5) Dolphin reserves the right to levy charges for usage of administration services that Dolphin deems not to be reasonable.

(6) Dolphin discount is calculated on the cost of qualifying calls within the Dolphin account falling within the discount bands defined. Qualifying calls include Express Group, Private Phone Calls, standard rate phone calls, voicemail retrieval in peak hours, Status Messages and Express Text messages at all times (excluding messages within Express Text 1000 bundle).
