Simoco d100

The Dolphin d100 is a powerful business tool for mobile voice and data communication. This TETRA vehicle unit, designed and manufactured by Simoco, combines the power of digital radio, mobile telephony and messaging. 

From instant individual and group calling through to messaging and conventional mobile phone calls, the d100 enables several essential ways to communicate directly from your vehicle.

The d100 vehicle unit comes complete with a hands free kit for Private Nets of up to 3 users. It is designed as an installed in-vehicle unit. Other models in the range include an integrated GPS receiver, and an office based terminal with integral power supply.

Exceptional speech clarity

The advanced TETRA technology that optimises human speech and suppresses background noise means the d100 offers exceptional clarity despite noisy conditions typically associated with hands-free operation whilst driving.

Flexible modes of call operation

The standard mode of operation of the d100 is a handheld mic and loudspeaker. For private calls there is the option of a handset. Alternatively a full hands-free kit with a remote press-to-talk button is available for additional user convenience and safety.

Easy-to-use

Despite its sophisticated features and advanced design, the Dolphin d100 is extremely simple to use. Easy to follow menus and short-cut keys provide quick access to all voice, text and status messaging facilities. With full edit functionality, the user interface lets you easily create, send and receive text messages with options to store or delete.

Automatic Vehicle Location

The d100 can be supplied with an optional Global Positioning System (GPS) module that can provide Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL). The GPS module’s reporting feature can be switched on and off remotely and provides real-time periodic updates to compatible AVL reporting systems.
