License Exempt Full Duplex Talkback is here !

This new DECT based system is license exempt through out the UK, Europe, and many other regions of the world.

Use upto 120 belt backs, full duplex simultaneously in any one venue.

No more licence fees, no more waiting for licences, turn up and use your talkback, any time anywhere.

No more hiss or interference - it's like moving to CD's from Vinyl Albums.

System is GAP compatible - use standard GAP repeaters for range extension, and seam-less handover.

Excellent audio quality to full DECT standards.

 

Please note the pictures are from pre-production prototypes. The finished items look much better, and now have the xlr 4 underneath, and other changes.

· Uses standard AA cells for power - NiMh or Nicad or Dry Cell - your choice of power source.

· Belt pack has its own internal rapid charger, just connect 12v ac to rapid charge the battery pack.

· Use standard Beyer DT108 / 109 and other moving coil mic / headsets combinations.

 Will drive low impedance headsets at high level.

· Battery life approximately 9 hours ( dependant upon headphone volume and impedance ).

· 4 wire or Tecpro / Metro / ASL / Clearcom interface as standard. ( RTS to follow ).

· Cased in industry standard Aluminium Tecpro case.

· Belt Packs support standard Call Lamp systems

· Inbuilt Cue lamp system ( requires modular base station system ).

· Transmit audio is digitally gated at base end via DECT protocols - no PTT clicks.

· The PTT switch is latch-able for full hands free operation.

· Open mics on belt packs can be cleared remotely from other belt packs ( requires modular base station system ).

· Lost belt pack locator system.

· Full diversity base stations for maximum performance.

· Range approx 50m in buildings, 300m in open air.

· Belt Pack can be registered to multiple base stations - enables range extension.

· Single unit base station supports one belt pack, and is powered from Tecpro ring, or in 4 wire mode from optional plug in power pack.

· Modular Base Station supports upto 12 belt packs, fit as many as you require.

· Modular Base Station has its own audio mixer / router to create multiple comms rings, either 2 wire / 4 wire or both ! Feed program audio to some belt packs, and not others !

· Modular Base Station has Cue lamp interface, optically isolated to interface to common Cue lamp systems.

· Both base station systems support common 2 wire call lamp systems.

· Belt Pack and single Base Station measure 90 * 48 * 105 mm.

· Belt Pack and single Base Station weigh approx 350g each.

· Modular Base Station is 3u high standard 19" rack mount.

· The on board microprocessors have plenty of unused i/o so if you have special requirements please enquire about custom software.

· Miniature receive only presenters unit coming soon.

We will be shipping the first Customer units in late February, evaluation samples are already with 8 customers, on shows and in active use.
